Instructional Ideas
- Teachers can have students solve the preloaded puzzles in this app to reinforce their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills.
- Once students understand the format and process of this app, teachers can have students model this app to create their own puzzles on paper. Once students create their own puzzles, they can exchange puzzles with other classmates and solve their classmates’ puzzles.
- Teachers can add a twist to this app by projecting a puzzle to their class and challenging students by seeing who can use the MOST numbers and/or operations to solve the puzzle. Or, teachers can do the opposite and challenge their class to see who can solve the puzzle using the FEWEST numbers and operations.
