Making Amaziographs is Amazing!

Summary : Amaziographs: Bringing Tessellations and Mandalas to Life!

Amaziograph allows users to create symmetrical artwork in the form of tessellations and mandalas, which are geometrical and spherical patterns and forms. To begin, users can select a preloaded amaziograph from the “Create New” menu on the top of the screen as their canvas or click the “Import” button on the top right to use an image saved on their device. Once selected, a new screen will load that allows users to tap a color on the top and then draw lines and figures on the image below. Because the amaziograph replicates one section, it is recommended that users focus on a section at a time.

To customize their amaziograph, users can choose the color they wish to use on the top of the screen and adust the slide tools to adjust the width of their marking as well as the opaqueness of them. In addition, users can tap the “Erase” tool on the top to remove markings and the “Bucket” tool to fill an entire area. They can also use the “Undo” and “Redo” arrow icons to remove or replace markings. When finished, users can tap the three dots on the top right to share their work as an image or as either a Photoshop or Amaziograph file. They can also choose if they wish to include transparency settings or grids lines in their file as well as have the option to crop to a tile. When ready, users can share their work over email, SMS message, or in another way.
