Bubbly Primes: A Game for Factoring
Summary : Factoring Numbers Has Never Been So Fun!
Bubbly Primes is an interactive factoring game. From the app’s home screen, users can tap the “Start” button to begin a new game. Set in an aquatic scene, bubbles with prime and factorable numbers begin to rise, and users must tap the factorable bubbles. When they do, two bubbles appear that contains numbers, and those numbers can be multiplied together to arrive at the previously popped bubble’s number. If the new bubbles have numbers that are factorable, users should tap them. If not, users should let the bubbles float to the top. Users gain points based on the number in the bubble that floats to the top, and once they earn a certain number of points, they advance in levels. As users advance levels, the pace at which the bubbles float to the top increases as well as the bubble’s value (growing from smaller numbers to larger numbers). If users let factorable numbers float to the top in one round, the game ends.
In addition to the game, users can tap the “Scores” button on the home screen to view past high scores, the “Settings” option to adjust the value of the numbers and the sound, and a “Help” option that includes additional options.
