Classroom Noise Monitor

Classroom Noise Monitor allows users to track the sound level in a room. After launching the app, it presents users with a meter that tracks noise. As the sound level increases, the meter’s needle rises. As the sound level decreases, the meter’s needle lowers. Users can tap the “Options” button on the top left to adjust the meter’s sensitivity and save sound levels.

Classroom Applications

1. When allowing students to work independently, teachers can use this app to monitor the room’s noise level.
2. When speaking to the class, teachers can launch this app on their iPad that is setup across the room. This way, teachers can ensure that their voice is reaching across the room.
3. When teachers identify talkative students, they can launch this app on their iPad and set it near the students. This way, teachers can see if the students are talking by looking at the meter.
