Instructional Ideas
- As part of a flipped classroom or blended-learning class, teachers can use this app to digitalize their classroom. They can create a class and then create or load Internet-based assignments, which students are to complete using their iPad only.
- After studying a topic, teachers can have students research a specific aspect of that topic. Next, students are to create a variety of media that explains the topic using apps that allow them to save their work as images to their camera roll. Once all the images are saved, students are to send them to their teacher, and their teacher can post the work as an eduClip to this app. Finally, the teacher and student can track the popularity of the work created by the student(s).
- With their class, teachers can search for a topic of study using this app. Teachers will need to connect their iPad to a projector so that they and their class can critique the search results. As they view the results, teachers can facilitate conversation by asking: (1) Is this eduClip of high or low quality? (2) What do you think you would learn by viewing this eduClip? (3) If you could modify this eduClip, what would you do? (4) If you could offer the person who made this eduClip one piece of advice, what would it be?
