Instructional Ideas

  1. Teachers can have students take these quizzes independently to review grammar or as a bell-ringer.
  2. Teachers can have students copy a quiz question into a Microsoft Word document. Next, teachers can have students answer the question and then compose a rationale for why the answer they selected is correct. These rationales need to include the name of the rule and explanation of the rule.
  3. After becoming familiar with the app, teachers can have students compose grammar questions that model the questions in this app. Next, teachers can have students swap questions with a peer. The peer can then answer the question. Once the peer answers the question, the peer can explain to the original student the grammar rule that was emphasized by the question.
