Description: This app lesson teaches students’ muscular and cardiovascular health.
Instructional Objective: Students will complete a weekly circuit of exercise and nutrition apps and demonstrate their understanding of healthy eating and training by logging their progress in a workout/nutrition tracker.
Step 1: Students will input their BMI information into the BMI Calculator to track their body mass index progress week to week.
Step 2: Students will view the tutorials of the exercises and complete the workouts assigned by their teacher on the Weight Lifting Videos app.
Step 3: Students will cool down with a teacher-assigned workout on the Simply Yoga FREE app.
Step 4: Students will complete a Challenge sent by the teacher for homework and log their weekly exercise and nutrition information in the Map My Fitness Workout app that can be shared.
