Description: This app lesson will develop Spanish foreign language students’ recognition and knowledge of vocabulary sight words.
Instructional Objective: Students will choose three Spanish letters of their choosing and match them to a vocabulary word with the same beginning sound and will pronounce the word and identify its meaning. Student will share their three vocabulary words by creating an infographic and uploading them to their classroom website.
Step 1: Students will choose three Spanish letters of their choosing and match them to a vocabulary word using the “Bubble Letter Sounds” feature of Rosetta Stone-Lingo Letter Sounds.
Step 2: Students will then create an infographic illustrating and identifying the meaning of their three words in both Spanish and English using the Glogster app.
Step 3: Students will share their infographic on their classroom Edmodo, compiling a vocabulary list that the entire class can review.
