The website then presents the exam’s sections to users, and users can click on the hyperlinked text in the different sections to access either the practice exercises or information about the exam. If users choose to complete a practice exercise, they are presented with multiple-choice questions, and respond by selecting what they think is the correct answer. After users have responded to each question and/or clicked the “Submit” button, the website automatically scores their answers and reports that information to users. For each question answered incorrectly, users can click the “Explain” button to learn why their answer was incorrect.

Instructional Ideas

  1. In preparation for an upcoming exam, students can use this website to help them prepare for it. After students complete a practice exercise, they can record their overall score. That way, students will be able to track their performance over time.
  2. Students can complete practice exercises for the different sections of a test. After they complete multiple practice exercises for a test’s different sections, they can compare their scores to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. This information can then be used to help the students and their teacher create study plans for them.
  3. Students can complete practice exercises for the different exams included in this website. After completing multiple exercises for at least two or more exams, students can rank the exams, from most to least challenging.
  4. After students complete multiple exercises for one exam and they understand the format and content of the questions, teachers can allow students to write their own questions using the Quiz Creator app. Students can then share their quizzes with one another.
