Instructional Ideas

  1. When studying a historical or significant person, students can create a meme about the person to help them remember that person’s accomplishments, legacy, blunders, or other important information. When finished, students can email their teacher the meme. The teacher can print the memes and hang them in their classroom.
  2. As a vocabulary activity, teachers can have students choose a picture that represents a word and then add a caption that uses the word in a memorable manner. Students can then email their teacher the meme. The teacher can print the memes and hang them in their classroom.
