Classroom Applications

- When planning horizontally with colleagues, Science teachers and English Language Arts teachers can align their instruction between the Next-Generation Science Standards and the Common Core State Standards by viewing the connections between the two sets of standards listed in this app.
- As teachers design their unit calendars and lesson plans, they can view the chronology in which this app lists the standards for their course. Then, as they design their unit and lessons, they can consult with this app to ensure that they taught all the applicable standards. However, teachers should consider the order of when to teach the different standards, and teach them in a way that is appropriate for their students.
