Instructional Ideas

  1. When listening to a lecture or viewing a presentation, students can use this app to record their notes. To organize their notes, students can title their notes so they reflect the lecture or presentation they engaged.
  2. For each instructional unit taught during a class, students can create a folder. That way, as they take notes about the different topics studied, students will be able to quickly reference them. To further organize their notes, students can create main folders and subfolders and then add notes accordingly.
  3. Students can create a portfolio using this app. To do so, students must first create a folder titled “Portfolio” or something similar. Next, students can complete an assignment either in this app or using Microsoft Word. As students identify works to add to their portfolio, they can move their notes into the “Portfolio” folder, or copy and paste their work from Microsoft Word into a note that is then included in their “Portfolio” folder. Once completed, students can either email their teacher the portfolio or have the teacher view it on their tablet.
