Instructional Ideas
- Teachers can use the Oxford Picture Dictionary app for a small group activity. First, students can be paired up and instructed to study a specific category of words or phrases. Students will then practice pronouncing words or phrases aloud to each other.
- Students can conduct interviews with classmates using the Oxford Picture Dictionary app. To do so, teachers first instruct students to ask their interviewee a specific number of questions. Then, for each question the student creates, the student must include a word or phrase found in this app.
- Teachers can create CLOZE passages for students to complete using words and phrases found in the Oxford Picture Dictionary app.
