As they make sweeps of the room, teachers can ask students to say all the names of the shapes, letters, or colors. Or, teachers can have students explain the activity that they are completing.
  2. After students gain proficiency with an activity, teachers can have students develop their handwriting by writing letters and/or drawing shapes.
  3. After students gain proficiency with an activity, teachers can have students color and cut out shapes. Next, teachers can have students identify different shapes by their color.
