Rockin’ Landforms – App Lesson

Description: This app lesson will develop 3rd grade students’ understanding and knowledge of Earth’s continental landforms.

Instructional Objective: Students will create a model representing Earth’s landforms such as volcanoes, mountains, valleys, canyons, plains, and islands.

Step 1: Students will watch an instructional video about Earth’s different landforms and how they are classified on the Bill Nye the Science Guy app.

Step 2: Students will select a DIY project on Instructables app that relates to Earth’s landforms.  They will then complete that project.
