Instructional Ideas
- Art teachers can project an image and have students sketch it. English teachers can project an image and have students describe it in writing or by creating a story about what could be happening in it.
- While studying a specific culture or region of the world, teachers can find images of that culture or region and use them to prompt discussion.
- Teachers can have students develop their ability to critique using this app. To do so, the class can make a rubric about what qualifies as a quality image. Next, with the rubric in place, students in small groups can practice critiquing images verbally using the rubric. When students have had enough practice, teachers can instruct them how to compose their critiques in writing by citing and explaining evidence about what they like and do not like about the image.
