STEARsoft Lite (School Teachers Electronic Attendance Register software)

STEARsoft is designed to make taking daily attendance an easy task for teachers. When first using STEARsoft, teachers will need to create their classes, supply general information about the classes (e.g., the name of the class, when the class meets, how long the class meets, etc.), and input student names into specific classes. Then, with STEARsoft, teachers are able to take attendance using symbols to note if a student is present, absent, tardy, left early, or had an explained or unexplained absence. Once data about student attendance has been entered into STEARsoft, teachers are able to track student attendance data and run attendance reports. Plus, teachers are able to share the attendance reports they ran using email or by importing them into other apps. Although there is a learning curve teachers will need to overcome when first using this app, STEARsoft does provide a detailed tutorial and video that helps explain the app.
