From the app’s main screen, users can import documents by choosing them from the online storage space, and the app will load the documents into its word processing platform. Users can then edit and revise the document before uploading it back into its storage space. If users wish to create a new document, they can tap the “+” button on the bottom right of the screen. Once created, users can begin adding content to the document and then save it to either the app or a storage space. Users can also tap the “+” button to create a new folder, so they can add and store documents in it for organizational purposes. Plus, if users wish to use this app to view email attachments, they can tap the attachment in their email and then open it in this app. For any documents saved to this app, they can be deleted, moved, duplicated, emailed, or sent to another app by tapping the “Edit” button on the top right of the screen, selecting the document, and then choosing the specific action.

Instructional Ideas

  1. Teachers can have students create a folder for a specific group of assignments and then add applicable documents to the folder. For example, if teachers begin class with a bellringer activity, they can require students to create a “Bellringer” folder and add bellringers to it.
  2. Teachers can have students complete an assignment by creating a document in this app and then email the document to them for grading.
  3. When students are drafting a paper or essay, students can save it to this app. This will allow students to quickly access it and add content to it.
  4. If students are working collaboratively on a document, they can share the document by linking this app to Google and re-uploading the document.
