World War You – App Lesson

Description: This app lesson will develop history students’ understanding of why the U.S. became of world power, the country’s dealings in world affairs, and problems that were happening on U.S. soil between the first and second world wars.

Instructional Objective: Students will demonstrate their understanding of the cause and effect factors leading the U.S. into World War II and events of WWII by creating a timeline and video.

Step 1: Students will use US History Timeline to look at U.S. events beginning from the 1920s to the 1950s and brainstorm which events they would like to showcase in their own cause and effect timeline as well as video.
