Instructional Ideas

  1. Teachers can have students practice a skill independently by engaging in a specific exercise using this app. As students practice the skill, teachers can make sweeps of the room and support students as needed.
  2. After students have become comfortable with a skill, teachers can have students transfer their ability from the tablet to paper and pencil. For example, after tracing a square on their tablet, teachers can require students to draw a square on a piece of paper.
  3. Once students have completed all the activities in an exercise, teachers can transition them to practice the skill using concrete objects. For example, after learning how to draw an airplane in the app, teachers can present students with an array of objects and have the students choose the airplane. This same activity can be done for letters, numbers, shapes, and more.
