Instructional Objective: Students will develop a KWL chart, review the American Revolution, analyze the development of the branches of government, and then play an interactive game.
Step 1: Students will create a KWL chart and write down the things that they already know about the American Revolution using the Drawing Desk app.
Step 2: Students will open The Revolution: Interactive Guide app and look and find the answers for the things that they wanted to know about the revolution. After finishing this they will summarize the stamp, tea and intolerable acts based on the readings from the app.
Step 3: Students will go to the Khan Academy app and then search “branches of government. Once the results are displayed the students will click on the videos tab and click on the “Constitution and democracy” video and watch it. Students will take notes while viewing this video.
Step 4: Students will go on the Kahoot! app and type in an interactive code. This code will allow students to compete with each other to successfully answer questions related to the American Revolution. This app will also act as a review.
