Problem Statement: How are large number place values determined?
Students write a hypothesis.
Step 1: Students will use the 4th Grade Math Games for Kids app on their devices and play different place value games. This application will help them learn different place values for numbers from ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands.
Step 2: Students will use Padlet to add at least one problem that they made up on their own to the classroom board. With the teacher, students will go through each of the problems.
Step 3: Students will use Educreations and make a video of themselves working out a given problem as an exit slip.
Students will affirm their hypothesis or revise it and begin the cycle again.
